Turtles on a Walk

I was all about to write about something else and then I saw this video from Science Friday. The video is about the difficulty these turtles were having in getting over the railroad tracks to get from one habitat to another. The turtle researcher, in the video, comes up with a simple plan. I thought this story was terrific. First of all it shows how a simple human development, railroad tracks, can have unintended and unpredicted devastating effects on wildlife. And then it shows how simple it can be for one person, ONE person, to make a huge difference.
Thanks to this man, these turtles can continue their walks.
